A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-51-43-010-093-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position under the right fan cowl door.
4. Procedure(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position under the right fan cowl door.

A. Removal of the Hydraulic Pump Electrical Harness (harness)
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the receptacle on the Pylon Junction Box (PJB) (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804).
(3) Remove the bolt (9) that attaches the harness (2) to the bracket (7).
(4) Remove the harness (2) from the spring clips of the support brackets (3), (4), and (5).
(5) Pass the upper end of the harness (2) through the opening between the pylon and the engine at 12 o'clock position.
(6) Move the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE into position under the left fan cowl door.
(7) On the left side of the engine, disconnect the electrical connectors that follow (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804):
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the receptacle on the hydraulic pump pressure switch (10).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (19) from the receptacle on the oil Low Pressure (LP) switch (16).
(c) Disconnect the electrical connector (18) from either the nacelle interphone jack harness connector (17), or the dummy receptacle (51) on the support bracket (50) and nacelle interphone jack harness support bracket (52).
(e) Disconnect the electrical connector (31) and electrical connector (32) from the receptacles on the Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) (33).
(f) Disconnect the electrical connector (34) from the electrical connector (36) at the bracket (35).
(8) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Remove the bolt (24) that attaches the harness (2) to the support bracket (21).
(10) Remove the bolt (29), bolt (40) and bolt (38) that attach the harness (2) to the support bracket (28).
(11) Carefully pull the harness (2) out of the spring clips on the support brackets (12), (22), (23), (28), (39), (40), (41), (42), (43), (44), (45), (46), (47), (48) and (49). Remove the harness from the engine.
(12) Remove the P-clamps (8), (25), (30), (39) and (37) from the harness (2).
NOTE: If necessary use PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT to disconnect electrical connectors.
(1) Before you remove the harness, make a record of the harness routing to help during installation. Include the location and position of the P-clamps (8), (25), (30), (39) and (37) on the harness (2) to help during installation. (2) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the receptacle on the Pylon Junction Box (PJB) (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804).
(3) Remove the bolt (9) that attaches the harness (2) to the bracket (7).
(4) Remove the harness (2) from the spring clips of the support brackets (3), (4), and (5).
(5) Pass the upper end of the harness (2) through the opening between the pylon and the engine at 12 o'clock position.
(6) Move the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE into position under the left fan cowl door.
(7) On the left side of the engine, disconnect the electrical connectors that follow (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804):
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the receptacle on the hydraulic pump pressure switch (10).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (19) from the receptacle on the oil Low Pressure (LP) switch (16).
(c) Disconnect the electrical connector (18) from either the nacelle interphone jack harness connector (17), or the dummy receptacle (51) on the support bracket (50) and nacelle interphone jack harness support bracket (52).
NOTE: The nacelle interphone jack is an optional kit.
(d) Disconnect the electrical connector (27) from the hydraulic pump (20). (e) Disconnect the electrical connector (31) and electrical connector (32) from the receptacles on the Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) (33).
(f) Disconnect the electrical connector (34) from the electrical connector (36) at the bracket (35).
(8) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Remove the bolt (24) that attaches the harness (2) to the support bracket (21).
(10) Remove the bolt (29), bolt (40) and bolt (38) that attach the harness (2) to the support bracket (28).
(11) Carefully pull the harness (2) out of the spring clips on the support brackets (12), (22), (23), (28), (39), (40), (41), (42), (43), (44), (45), (46), (47), (48) and (49). Remove the harness from the engine.
(12) Remove the P-clamps (8), (25), (30), (39) and (37) from the harness (2).
