A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

WARNING: OPEN THE PROBE HEATER CIRCUIT-BREAKERS 1DA1(2), 3DA1(2,3), 4DA1(2,3) AND 5DA1(2,3) BEFORE ENG1(2)FADEC A and EIU 1(2) C/B'S 2KS1 AND 2KS2. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS SEQUENCE:

THE PROBES WILL BECOME TOO HOT.
THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT AND INJURY TO MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.

(2) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-51-43-020-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Vibration Sensor Harness

NOTE: To open the flip-lock clamps and line blocks, turn the captive screws or captive bolts 1/4 turn counterclockwise to disengage the cam nuts.

NOTE: Loosely attach the clamp(s), anti-rotation lug(s) if applicable, and bolt(s) to the brackets from which they were removed to make it easier for installation.

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 448VC-A from the pylon junction box.
(2) Open the flip-lock clamp (25) and remove the electrical harness (5).

(3) Open the 3 line blocks (10) attached to the brackets at station 167.
(4) Open the line block (15) attached to the bracket at station 174.
(5) Open the 3 line blocks (20) attached to the brackets at station 176, 185 and 191.
(6) If necessary, remove the rubber supports from the line blocks. Remove the harness (5) from the rubber supports.

(7) Remove the clamps and bolts (12) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets at station 167.
(8) Remove the clamps, bolt and anti-rotation lug (13) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets at station 167.
(9) Remove the clamps and bolt (17) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 174.
(10) Remove the clamps, bolts and anti-rotation lugs (22) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets at station 176 and 185.
(11) Remove the clamps and bolts (23) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 191.

(12) Disconnect the electrical connector 4002EV-A from the No. 1 bearing vibration accelerometer.
(13) Remove the electrical harness (5) from the engine.
(14) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the electrical connectors.
