A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):- THE PROBES WILL BECOME TOO HOT.
- THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT AND INJURY TO MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.

(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

A. Removal of the ECU (Channel B) to Thrust Reverser Junction Box Harness (4214KS).
CONFIG-1
(2) Open the line block (10) that attaches the harness (5) to the bracket at station 167. If necessary remove the rubber support from the line block (10).
CONFIG-2
(3) Remove the bolt (20) that attaches the clamps (15) and (25) to the bracket at station 167. Remove the clamp (25) from the harness (5).
(4) Leave the clamp (15) on the harness 4215KS and loosely install the bolt (20).
END CONFIG-2
(5) Open the line blocks (30) and (35) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets.
(6) If necessary, remove the rubber supports from the line blocks (30) and (35).
(7) Remove the harness (5) from the rubber supports.

(8) Open the flip lock clamp (40) and remove the harness (5).

(9) Remove the clamp, bolt and anti-rotation lug (42) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket.

(10) Disconnect the electrical connector 4000KS-J6 from the ECU.
(11) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the electrical connectors.
(12) Remove the electrical harness (5) from the engine.
NOTE: To open the flip-lock clamps and line blocks, turn the captive screws or bolts 1/4 turn counterclockwise to disengage the cam nuts.
NOTE: Loosely attach the clamp(s), anti-rotation lug(s) if applicable, and bolt(s) to the brackets from which they were removed to make it easier for installation.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 4006VC-A from the harness junction box. CONFIG-1
(2) Open the line block (10) that attaches the harness (5) to the bracket at station 167. If necessary remove the rubber support from the line block (10).

(3) Remove the bolt (20) that attaches the clamps (15) and (25) to the bracket at station 167. Remove the clamp (25) from the harness (5).
(4) Leave the clamp (15) on the harness 4215KS and loosely install the bolt (20).
END CONFIG-2
(5) Open the line blocks (30) and (35) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets.
(6) If necessary, remove the rubber supports from the line blocks (30) and (35).
(7) Remove the harness (5) from the rubber supports.

(11) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the electrical connectors.
(12) Remove the electrical harness (5) from the engine.
