B. Target Rigging Procedure (PRE SPOL BD-FC-19004)
(a) Do a check of the relative position of the target with the proximity sensor (7):
1 The keeper is in open position, the target has any part in front of the proximity sensor (7).
2 The keeper is in closed position, the target must be in front of the proximity sensor (7).
a If the target is not in front of the proximity sensor (7), a full target rigging procedure must be performed. Go to Para.4.D.
b If there is no misrigging do Step 4.B.(2)(b).
(b) The keeper is in the closed position, measure the gap between the sensor and the target. The gap must be 2 +0.1 mm or -0.4 mm (0.0787 +0.0039 in. or -0.0157 in.).
1 Use a GAGE - FEELER to check the gap.
(3) If an adjustment of the gap is necessary, install a new AIPC 71-13-10-21-010 PEELING WAHSER (8) and adjust it to get the correct gap (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-51-400-801).
