A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) warning notice in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) warning notice in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

INSPECT/CHECK	MAXIMUM SERVICEABLE LIMITS	REMARKS
1. Examine the fan cowl door fire seals for:
A. Damage	None allowed.	If damage is found, replace the fire seal
B. Missing seal	None allowed.	Replace the missing fire seal
C. Missing fasteners	None allowed.	Replace the missing fasteners
D. Misalignment	None allowed.	Align or replace the fire seal

(1) To replace the fire seal, it is necessary to remove the pylon apron (Ref. AMM TASK 54-57-22-000-822) and (Ref. AMM TASK 54-57-22-400-822).
