WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(3) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:

(2) On the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(3) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
(3) Remove the anti-ice vent panel (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-11-00-000-044).
4. Procedure(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
(3) Remove the anti-ice vent panel (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-11-00-000-044).

A. Do a detailed visual inspection of the inlet cowl anti-ice inlet and exit ducts using a flashlight and an inspection mirror:

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the anti-ice vent panel (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-11-00-400-045).
(3) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040).
(4) Do a functional check of the inlet cowl pressure relief door (Ref. AMM TASK 71-11-00-720-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the anti-ice vent panel (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-11-00-400-045).
(3) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040).
(4) Do a functional check of the inlet cowl pressure relief door (Ref. AMM TASK 71-11-00-720-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
