  • MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the zone 590(690).

D. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure
Subtask 57-60-00-210-054-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the upper and lower skins of the aileron, on the external surface, for damage or discontinuities.
   (2) Make sure that:
  • There is no damage.
  • There is no delamination at the edges.
  • There is no delamination of the skin.
  • There are no cracks or scores.
  • The surface protection is in the correct condition.
   (3) If necessary, refer to the SRM 576000 for the correct repair procedure.
   (4) Do a detailed inspection of the filler between the leading edge and the upper and lower skins of the aileron.
   (5) Make sure that:
  • There are no cracks in the filler.
  • There is no missing filler.
   (6) If necessary, refer to the SRM 576121 for the correct repair procedure.
NOTE: The filler repair procedure must be done at the next scheduled maintenance interval for the aircraft.
