Special Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing Outboard Flap Tracks 3 and 4 Drive Levers
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
NOTE: The effectivity of this task is ALL. To know if this task is applicable for your aircraft, refer to the MPD task applicability and the weight variant data given in the SRM introduction.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Do a manual extension of the spoilers (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(4) Make sure that the 98D27604000000 COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER or 98D27604004000 COLLAR SAFETY SPOILER is installed on the applicable spoiler actuator.
(5) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 3 and 4, zones 532(632) and 533(633).
Subtask 57-53-00-865-083-A (1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Do a manual extension of the spoilers (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(4) Make sure that the 98D27604000000 COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER or 98D27604004000 COLLAR SAFETY SPOILER is installed on the applicable spoiler actuator.
(5) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap tracks 3 and 4, zones 532(632) and 533(633).

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the drive lever.

B. Special Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing Outboard Flap Tracks 3 and 4 Drive Levers
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the drive levers on flap tracks 3 and 4 NTM 575354.
5. Close-up(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the drive levers on flap tracks 3 and 4 NTM 575354.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 575300 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do a manual retraction of the spoilers (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(3) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

C. Removal of Equipment

(3) Remove the safety barriers.
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
