(1) Fully extend the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
(2) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever.

(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the applicable inspection area.

B. Special Detailed Inspection (HFEC) of Slat 2, Skin Connections in Area of Lower Girder at Track Rib Stations, LH/RH
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the slat 2 skin-connections in the area of the lower girder (Ribs 5 and 6) NTM 574304.

NOTE: If necessary refer to the SRM 574000 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).

(1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Fully retract the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005).

(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
