B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Fully extend the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
(2) Make sure the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is on the flap/slat control lever.

(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the applicable inspection area.

B. Special Detailed Inspection (HFEC) of Slat 1, Skin Connections in Area of Lower Girder at Track Rib Stations 3 and 4, LH/RH
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the slat 1 skin-connections in the area of the lower girder (Ribs 3 and 4) NTM 574204.

NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 574000 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from Airbus.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).

(2) Fully retract the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005).

(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
