   (2) Remove the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-006):

   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable wing leading edge at the zones 521(621) and 522(622).
   (2) Remove the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-006):

A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the upper and lower surfaces of the leading-edge top skin.

B. Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing, Fixed Leading-Edge Top-Wing-Skin, Upper and Lower Surfaces, Forward of Front Spar, from RIB1 to 27
   (1) Examine the upper and lower surfaces of the leading-edge top skin. Make sure that:
  • there is no corrosion
  • there are no cracks
  • there is no distortion
  • there are no loose or damaged fasteners
  • the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 572100 for the correct repair procedure.
