   (2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

   (1) Remove the No. 2 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-64-000-001), the No. 3 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-65-000-001), the No. 4 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-66-000-001) and the No. 5 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-67-000-001).
   (2) Remove the slat tracks 5 thru 12 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-62-000-001).

   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable wing leading edge, zone 522(622).
   (2) Remove the applicable access panels:
(Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-006).
4. Procedure
Subtask 57-41-00-110-060-A
A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) At the leading edge forward upper roller pin holes, track ribs 5-12:
     (a) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the structure in the area of the bush flanges.

B. Inspection
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the outer wing fixed leading-edge forward upper roller-pin holes (ribs 5 thru 12) NTM 574102.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the ASRM SRM 574000 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the applicable access panels:
(Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-006).

   (2) Install the No. 2 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-64-400-002), the No. 3 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-65-400-002), the No. 4 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-66-400-002) and the No. 5 slat (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-67-400-002).

D. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (2) Remove the safety barriers.
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
