A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or the slats.
Subtask 57-39-00-010-050-A (1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable wing-tip at zone 534(634).

A. Visual Check of the Drain Holes for Clogging
(1) Examine the drain holes in:
(3) If the hole in access panel 534AB ( 634AB) is blocked, remove it.
(4) For all the holes, remove all unwanted material from around the holes. Use the PROBE - NON METALLIC, FLEXIBLE to remove the blockage from the holes.
(5) If you removed access panel 534AB ( 634AB), install it when the blockage is clear.
Subtask 57-39-00-210-051-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Examine the drain holes in:
- The forward and aft area of access panel 534AB ( 634AB)
- The bottom of the wing-tip fence
- The lower surface of the wing adjacent to the wing-tip glazing panel.
(3) If the hole in access panel 534AB ( 634AB) is blocked, remove it.
(4) For all the holes, remove all unwanted material from around the holes. Use the PROBE - NON METALLIC, FLEXIBLE to remove the blockage from the holes.
(5) If you removed access panel 534AB ( 634AB), install it when the blockage is clear.
NOTE: The access panel is installed with the drain holes in the inboard direction.
A. Visual Check of the Drain Holes for Clogging
(1) Examine the drain holes in the bottom of the sharklet.
(2) Make sure that they are not blocked.
(3) If the hole is blocked, remove all unwanted material from around the holes. Use the PROBE - NON METALLIC, FLEXIBLE to remove the blockage from the holes.
5. Close-up(1) Examine the drain holes in the bottom of the sharklet.
(2) Make sure that they are not blocked.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
