DETAILED INSPECTION OF OUTER WING, TOP SKIN STRINGERS, INBOARD AND OUTBOARD OF RIBS 4, 5 AND 6 AT ATTACHMENT TO CLEATS INCLUDING AFT WEB FACE, FORWARD WEB FACE AND CROWN. INCLUDING ANY ATTACHMENTS HOLE IN THE STRINGER WEB BETWEEN RIB 4 TO 6.

A. Safety Precautions
WARNING: BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
   (1) Obey the safety procedures when you do work in a fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001).
   (2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
   (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps and slats.
   (4) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the zone 540(640).
   (2) Remove the applicable access panel:
     (a) For the left wing, remove:

A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) , to clean the applicable inspection area.
Subtask 57-20-00-220-063-A
B. Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing, Top Skin Stringers, Inboard and Outboard of Ribs 4, 5 and 6 at Attachment to Cleats Including Aft Web Face, Forward Web Face and Crown. Including any Attachments Hole in the Stringer Web Between Rib 4 to 6
   (1) Examine the applicable inspection area and make sure that:
  • There is no corrosion
  • There is no damage
  • There are no cracks
  • The surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 572100 for the correct repair procedure.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the applicable access panels:
     (a) For the left wing, install 540AB and 540BB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-400-001).
     (b) For the right wing, install 640AB and 640BB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-400-001).

B. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
