(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) In the cockpit:

- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engines.
- Make sure that ENG 1 MASTER 1 and ENG 2 MASTER 2 control switches are in the OFF position.

B. Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing, Bottom Skin, Lower Surface Attachment to Rear Spar in Area Covered by Pylon Fairing
(1) Do an inspection and make sure that:

- The paint finish is in the correct condition.

G. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
