A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
   (2) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
   (3) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the applicable zone 470(480).
   (2) Remove the applicable pylon-to-wing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-804):
     (a) For the left wing:
     (b) For the right wing:

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the applicable zone 470(480).
   (2) Remove the applicable pylon-to-wing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002):

   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the applicable zone 470(480).

4. Procedure
Subtask 57-20-00-110-074-A
A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) Make sure that you remove all sealant from the surface around the aft-pylon attachment-fitting cutout in the inspection areas.
   (2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) , to clean the surface around the aft-pylon attachment-fitting cutout.

B. Special Detailed Inspection (HFEC) of Outer Wing, Bottom Skin, Lower Surface around Aft-Pylon Attachment-Fitting Cutout
   (1) Examine the applicable inspection area NTM 572047.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 57210000 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.

C. Sealant Application
   (1) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) to the surface around the aft-pylon attachment-fitting cutout to replace sealant removed from inspection areas. Refer to SRM 517611.

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the applicable pylon-to-wing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-804):

B. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the safety barriers.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS flap/slat control lever locking tool from the flap/slat control lever.
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
