A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
   (2) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
   (3) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below zone 574(674).
   (2) Open the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-008) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-009):

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below zone 574(674).
   (2) Remove the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-008) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-009):

A. Preparation for Inspection
   (1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) , to clean:
  • the joint plate on the aft face of the rear spar at RIB6.

B. Special Detailed Inspection (Endoscope) of the Outer-Wing-Rear-Spar Aft-Face Spar-Joint-Plate at RIB6
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the outer-wing-rear-spar aft-face spar-joint-plate at RIB6 NTM 572008.
   (2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-008) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-009):

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-008) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-400-009):

B. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
