Removal of the Access Door at RIB1

BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET AIRCRAFT FUEL IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES.
IF YOU GET FUEL ON YOUR SKIN OR ON YOUR CLOTHES, FLUSH IT IMMEDIATELY WITH WATER.
IF NECESSARY, GET MEDICAL HELP.
AIRCRAFT FUEL IS POISONOUS.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
NOTE: The access door at RIB1 has the marking "DO NOT REMOVE". This is to tell persons not to remove this access door if there is fuel in the center tank.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001).
(2) Defuel the applicable inner wing tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or transfer the fuel of the applicable inner wing tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
(3) Make sure that the center tank is defueled (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
4. Procedure(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001).
(2) Defuel the applicable inner wing tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or transfer the fuel of the applicable inner wing tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
(3) Make sure that the center tank is defueled (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).

A. Removal of the Access Door
(1) Remove the bolts (11), (18), (16) and the washers (12), (17), (15)
from the access door (13).
(3) Remove and discard the seal (14).
(1) Remove the bolts (11), (18), (16) and the washers (12), (17), (15)
from the access door (13).
NOTE: Hold the access door (13) when you remove the fasteners.
