3. Job Set-up
Subtask 57-10-00-010-111-A

A. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the applicable insulation blanket(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If sealant or paint is applied on the inspection area:

Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
Remove the paint.

4. Procedure
Subtask 57-10-00-280-054-A

A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the upper splice of frame 42 at Y0 for damage or discontinuities NTM 571205.
(2) Refer to the NTM inspection report and do the applicable step:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Sealant or paint application
(1) If you removed the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blanket(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed ceiling panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001).
