A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Obey the fuel safety precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).

B. Get Access
   (1) Open MLG door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 191 (192).
   (3) Remove wing-to-fuselage fairings 147CB, 148DB, 191LB and 192LB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-000-001).

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
4. Procedure
Subtask 57-10-00-270-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the left and right sides of the center and outer wing boxes (and of the lower splice and panel) for damage or discontinuities. This inspection includes the area between stiffener 6 and FR42. Refer to NTM 571204.
   (2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Sealant or Paint Application
   (1) If the NTM procedure told to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant (refer to SRM 512400) or paint (refer to SRM 512300) on the inspection area.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install wing-to-fuselage fairings 147CB, 148DB, 191LB and 192LB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-400-001).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Close MLG door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
