3. Job Set-up
Subtask 57-10-00-010-102-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
   (1) Open MLG door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 147 (148).
   (3) Remove access cover 147AZ ( 148AZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
   (4) If installed, remove the protective cover (Ref. AMM D/O 57-17-11-00).
   (5) Use the FLASHLIGHT for the inspection, if necessary.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary to do the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
4. Procedure
Subtask 57-10-00-250-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection (High Frequency Eddy Current (HFEC) method) of the right and left center wing-box at the ends of lower skin stiffeners 8 to 15, for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 571106.
   (2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 57-10-00-910-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Sealant or Paint Application
   (1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant (Refer to SRM 512400) or paint (Refer to SRM 512300) on the inspection area.
5. Close-up
Subtask 57-10-00-410-103-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install access cover 147AZ ( 148AZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
   (3) If removed, install the protective cover (Ref. AMM D/O 57-17-11-00).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
   (5) Close MLG door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
