Subtask 57-10-00-010-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Open the Main Landing Gear (MLG) door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 147 (148).
(3) Remove the access covers 147AZ 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(4) Take a FLASHLIGHT for the inspection, if necessary.

Subtask 57-10-00-010-062-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Open the Main Landing Gear (MLG) door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 147 (148).
(3) Remove the access covers 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(4) If installed, remove the protective cover (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
(5) Take a FLASHLIGHT for the inspection, if necessary.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area

Inspection (HFEC) of the Lower Skin Stiffener 8 to 15 of the Center Wing Box

(1) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(2) Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(3) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 57-10-00-250-052-A

A. Inspection

Inspection (HFEC) of the Lower Skin Stiffener 8 to 15 of the Center Wing Box

(1) Do a special detailed inspection (HFEC) of the ends of the lower skin stiffeners of the center wing box. This inspection includes the area between stiffener 8 and stiffener 15 for damage or discontinuities.
(a) Do this inspection on both left and right sides. Refer to Non-destructive Testing Manual NTM 571106.
(2) Make a report of damage after NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage types, classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 57-10-00-390-052-A

A. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) Apply sealant ( SRM 512400) or paint ( SRM 512300) on the inspection area, if removed.

Subtask 57-10-00-410-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access covers 147AZ 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the Main Landing Gear (MLG) door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

Subtask 57-10-00-410-061-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access cover 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(3) If removed, install the protective cover (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-003).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the Main Landing Gear (MLG) door 734 ( 744) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
