Subtask 57-10-00-010-053-A

A. Get Access
(1) Remove the necessary access cover(s) or/and ACT-equipment support door to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(2) Use a LIGHT SOURCE - TORCH for the inspection.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that there is no Temporary Protection System (TPS) layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

A. Inspection

Rear Spar of the Center Wing Box

(1) Do a detailed visual inspection of the rear spar of the center wing box around the access door cutouts.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:

If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.

(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 57-10-00-410-053-A

A. Close Access
(1) Install the access cover(s) or/and ACT-equipment support door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
