   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below access door 312AR.
   (2) Open access door 312AR.
   (3) Get access to the inspection area.
   (4) Remove the rear pressure-bulkhead cover (1).
Subtask 53-51-00-110-069-A
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-51-00-210-050-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the complete aft face of the rear pressure bulkhead for damage and discontinuities. Do this also for the fuselage internal structure between FR70 and FR71, from stringer 26 on the left and right sides to the bottom center line.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
   (3) Examine the leveling compound/sealant around the drain pipe. Make sure that the fluid in the area goes out of the drain pipe.

NOTE: The leveling compound/sealant must be removed only if it is found cracked or in a bad condition, or if the edge of the levelling compound/sealant is not in contact with the fuselage skin.
Subtask 53-51-00-916-050-A
B. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
   (1) If you removed the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
   (2) If you did not remove the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
   (3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-51-00-914-050-A
A. Sealant Application
   (1) If the leveling compound/sealant is in a bad condition:
     (a) Carefully remove the leveling compound/sealant from around the drain pipe with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
     (b) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the area around the drain pipe.
Subtask 53-51-00-410-050-A
B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the rear pressure-bulkhead cover (1).
   (3) Close access door 312AR.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
