3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-49-21-010-050-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(2) Open aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) In the aft cargo compartment, remove the applicable floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
(4) Remove the insulation blankets as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-49-21-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Drain Valve
(1) Remove the drain valve (5) from the valve retainer (3).
(2) Remove the sealant with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) , the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC from the collars (1).
(3) Remove and discard the collars (1) and the pins (4) (refer to SRM 514211).
(4) Remove the strap (2).
(5) Remove the valve retainer (3).
