A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the AFT CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU is set to ON.
   (3) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment partition is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-001).

B. Cleaning Procedure
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (1) Remove all the remaining sealant from the floor panels with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (2) Clean the component interface and the adjacent area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Make sure that the area is dry before you continue.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-42-14-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Floor Panels
F Maintenance Floor Panels ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do the inspection of the floor panels (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-002).
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Make sure that the clipnuts (4) are clean and in the correct condition. If necessary, replace the defective clipnuts (4).
   (5) Put the floor panels (1) in position.
NOTE: Refer to the identification made during the removal procedure.
   (6) Apply the zinc chromate putty Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (2).
   (7) Install the screws (2) and washers (3).
NOTE: Refer to the identification made during the removal procedure.
   (8) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.42 and 0.37 m.daN (37.17 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
   (9) Install the cord (5) FIBER GLASS CORD 1.1MM DIA. (DAN107) in the spaces between the floor panels (1).
   (10) Make sure that the cord (5) comes out at both ends:
  • Approximately 200.0 mm (7.8740 in.) between the floor panels (1).
   (11) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.
06AAC1) in the spaces between the floor panels (1) and the cutouts of the tiedown positions.
   (12) Make a loop at the end of the cord (5). This will help with the subsequent removal procedure.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-42-14-410-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the aft cargo-compartment partition (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
   (3) Set the AFT CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU to OFF.
   (4) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
