A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Cleaning Procedure
(2) Clean the component interface and the adjacent area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Do an inspection of the floor panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-002).
4. ProcedureWARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(1) Remove all remaining sealant from the floor panel with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC. (2) Clean the component interface and the adjacent area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Do an inspection of the floor panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-002).

A. Installation of the Floor Panel Seal
Floor Panel Seal of the Aft Cargo Compartment ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

Floor Panel Seal of the Aft Cargo Compartment ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Cut the seal (2) to the necessary length and as a continuous piece.
(3) Clean the seal (2) to remove dust and dirt.
(4) Put the seal (2) in position.
(5) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the holes at the end of the seal (2) at a minimum distance of 40 mm (1.5748 in.) from the edge of the seal.
(6) Make sure that all the seal intersections are flush with each other.
(7) If you removed the floor panel (1), install it (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
