A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position adjacent to the aft cargo-compartment door.
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the carpet, if installed (Ref. AMM D/O 25-52-12-00).
(4) Set the AFT CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU to ON.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position adjacent to the aft cargo-compartment door.
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the carpet, if installed (Ref. AMM D/O 25-52-12-00).
(4) Set the AFT CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU to ON.

A. Removal of the Floor Panels
(1) Find the end of the cord (4).
(2) Pull the cord (4) up to remove the sealant (11), which is between the aft cargo-compartment floor-panels (1).
(3) Remove the sealant (11), which is between the cutouts and the tiedown positions, with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Remove the sealant (11) from the nuts (3) with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(5) Remove the screws (5) and, if applicable, the nuts (3) and the washers (2).
(6) Record the length of the screws (5) and, if applicable, the position of the nuts (3) and the washers (2).
(8) Put identification marks on each aft cargo-compartment floor-panel (1) and the section hoses (6), (7), (8) and (9).

(7) Remove the aft cargo-compartment floor-panels (1) and, if installed, the section hoses (6), (7), (8) and (9).(8) Put identification marks on each aft cargo-compartment floor-panel (1) and the section hoses (6), (7), (8) and (9).

A. Removal of the Floor Panels
(1) Find the end of the cord (4).
(2) Pull the cord (4) up to remove the sealant (11), which is between the aft cargo-compartment floor-panels (1).
(3) Remove the sealant (11), which is between the cutouts and the tiedown positions, with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Remove the sealant (11) from the nuts (3) or (10) with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(5) Remove the screws (5) and, if applicable, the nuts (3) or (10) and the washers (2).
(6) Record the length of the screws (5) and, if applicable, the position of the nuts (3) or (10) and the washers (2).
