A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
(1) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the ADF2 antenna cover, at zone 250.
4. Procedure(1) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the ADF2 antenna cover, at zone 250.
Subtask 53-41-61-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the ADF2 Antenna Cover
(1) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC from the cover (2) and the fuselage structure (3).
(2) Remove the screws (1), (6) and (7) from the cover (2).
(3) Lift the cover (2) and disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the dummy receptacle (5). At the same time, make sure that the electrical connector (4) does not fall into the fuselage structure (3).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Safety the electrical connector (4) to the fuselage structure (3) with TAPE - MASKING.
(1) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC from the cover (2) and the fuselage structure (3).
(2) Remove the screws (1), (6) and (7) from the cover (2).
(3) Lift the cover (2) and disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the dummy receptacle (5). At the same time, make sure that the electrical connector (4) does not fall into the fuselage structure (3).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Safety the electrical connector (4) to the fuselage structure (3) with TAPE - MASKING.
