B. Get Access
   (1) Remove the necessary equipment and furnishing to get access to the cabin floor panels.
   (2) Remove the necessary floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-000-801).

C. Cleaning Procedure
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD FLOW OF AIR THROUGH THE WORK AREA WHEN YOU USE SPECIAL MATERIALS. IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES:
  • FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES.
  • GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS.
DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS: THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
WARNING: OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THIS/THESE MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
   (1) Remove the old temporary protection compound from the area to be treated with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and clean with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . Make sure that the area is dry before you continue.
4. Procedure
CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION ON THE OXYGEN SYSTEMS. MAKE SURE THAT THE TEMPORARY PROTECTION DOES NOT GET:
  • ON COMPOSITE PARTS, CONTROL CABLES, PULLEYS,TEFLON BEARINGS.
  • ON LUBRICATED SURFACES.
  • IN DRAIN VALVES OR OTHER ORIFICES.
TEMPORARY PROTECTION ON OR IN THESE PARTS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

   (1) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or equivalent to the cabin floor structure, excluding areas below galleys, toilets and door entrance areas, from FR47 to FR70.

A. Temporary Protection Procedure
   (1) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or equivalent to the cabin floor structure, excluding areas below galleys, toilets and door entrance areas, from FR47/51 and FR70.

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-400-801).
   (3) Install the equipment and furnishing, removed to get access to the cabin floor panels.
