A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) adjacent to the BULK cargo compartment door.
(2) Open the BULK cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).

(2) Open the BULK cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
B. Cleaning Procedure
4. ProcedureWARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(1) Remove the old temporary protection compound from the area to be treated with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC, and clean with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . Make sure that the area is dry before you continue. CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION ON THE OXYGEN SYSTEMS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE TEMPORARY PROTECTION DOES NOT GET:
Subtask 53-41-00-916-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - ON COMPOSITE PARTS, CONTROL CABLES, PULLEYS,TEFLON BEARINGS.
- ON LUBRICATED SURFACES.
- IN DRAIN VALVES OR OTHER ORIFICES.
A. Temporary Protection Procedure
(1) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or equivalent to the sealing profile of the bulk cargo compartment door cutout at the upper corners.
5. Close-up(1) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or equivalent to the sealing profile of the bulk cargo compartment door cutout at the upper corners.
Subtask 53-41-00-410-115-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the BULK cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
