Fuselage Internal Structure, from FR 47/51 to FR 70, above the Cabin Floor LevelSubtask 53-41-00-010-234-A
A. Get Access
(1) Remove the lining (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-26-000-001).
(2) If applicable, remove the Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(4) Remove the galleys and the lavatories between FR 47/54 or FR47/51 and FR70, if installed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
Subtask 53-41-00-110-186-A (1) Remove the lining (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-26-000-001).
(2) If applicable, remove the Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(4) Remove the galleys and the lavatories between FR 47/54 or FR47/51 and FR70, if installed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
- For the galleys: (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00).
- For the lavatories: (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes SRM 514200.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes SRM 514200.
Subtask 53-41-00-220-109-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the fuselage internal structure for damage or discontinuities NTM 534119.
(a) For A318, do this inspection between FR47/54 and FR70.
(b) For A319, do this inspection between FR47/51 and FR70.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-41-00-420-067-A (1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the fuselage internal structure for damage or discontinuities NTM 534119.
(a) For A318, do this inspection between FR47/54 and FR70.
(b) For A319, do this inspection between FR47/51 and FR70.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Installation of the Fasteners
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes SRM 514200.
5. Close-up(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes SRM 514200.
Subtask 53-41-00-420-068-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the lining (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-26-400-001).
(3) If removed, install the OHSC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-400-001).
(4) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(5) Install the galleys and the lavatories between FR 47/54 or FR47/51 and FR70, if removed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the lining (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-26-400-001).
(3) If removed, install the OHSC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-400-001).
(4) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(5) Install the galleys and the lavatories between FR 47/54 or FR47/51 and FR70, if removed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
- For the galleys: (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00).
- For the lavatories: (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00).
