(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the inspection area.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
Subtask 53-41-00-250-053-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (LFEC) of the external surface of the lower skin, on the left and right sides. Do this inspection at the longitudinal-lap joint areas at stringer 18, for damage and discontinuities. Refer to NTM 534115.
(a) For A318, do this inspection between FR47/54 and FR64.
(b) For A319, do this inspection between FR47/51 and FR64.
(c) For A320, do this inspection between FR47 and FR64.
(d) For A321, do this inspection between FR47.5 and FR64.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-41-00-910-052-A (1) Do a special detailed inspection (LFEC) of the external surface of the lower skin, on the left and right sides. Do this inspection at the longitudinal-lap joint areas at stringer 18, for damage and discontinuities. Refer to NTM 534115.
(a) For A318, do this inspection between FR47/54 and FR64.
(b) For A319, do this inspection between FR47/51 and FR64.
(c) For A320, do this inspection between FR47 and FR64.
(d) For A321, do this inspection between FR47.5 and FR64.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
