BETWEEN CABIN FLOOR PANELS AND CARGO COMPARTMENT FLOOR,
INCLUDING CABIN FLOOR STRUCTURE, FROM FR 47 TO FR 65.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-41-00-010-229-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
   (1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) If applicable, open the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
   (3) If installed, remove ACT1 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00), ACT2 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00), ACT3 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-004).
   (4) Remove the applicable linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-002) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
   (5) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection areas is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove it ( (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001)).
   (4) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
   (5) Remove the fasteners to do an inspection of the holes ( SRM 514200).
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-41-00-220-106-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the fuselage internal structure (between the cabin floor panels and the cargo compartment floor-panels), for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 534120.
     (a) For A318, do this between FR47/54 and FR65.
     (b) For A319, do this between FR47/51 and FR65.
     (c) For A320, do this between FR47 and FR65.
     (d) For A321, do this between FR47.5 and FR65.
   (2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Installation of the Fasteners
   (1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
   (2) Install the fasteners in the examined holes ( SRM 514200).
Subtask 53-41-00-910-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Sealant or Paint Application
   (1) If the NTM procedure told to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant ( SRM 512400) or paint ( SRM 512300) on the inspection area.
Subtask 53-41-00-916-121-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
D. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
   (1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
   (2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
   (3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
NOTE: If, after the check of the condition and integrity, the TPS layer is in the correct condition, Airbus recommends that you apply a new layer as a spray on the existing layer. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-41-00-410-223-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
   (2) Install the removed linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-002) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
   (3) If removed, install ACT5 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40), ACT3 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40), ACT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-003).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (5) If applicable, close the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
   (6) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
