SPECIAL DETAILED INSPECTION (ROTO) OF DOOR STOP FITTING FASTENER HOLES IN FR47.2A AND FR47.4 AT STR13 AND AT STR22 (LH/RH).

NOTE: The effectivity of this task is "ALL". To know if this task is applicable for your aircraft, refer to the MPD task applicability. The information on weight variant groups is given in the MPD and SRM introductions.

Subtask 53-41-00-010-216-A

A. Get Access
(1) Open the emergency exit doors 834 and 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Remove the applicable bolts from the door stop fittings (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-31-000-002).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection areas are sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection.

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.

(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that the inspection area is dry before you continue.

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-41-00-220-102-A

A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the fastener holes of the door stop fittings at FR 47.4. Do this at STGR 13 and STGR 22, LH/RH, for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 534189.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification, and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-41-00-410-212-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable bolts on the door stop fittings (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-31-400-002).
(3) Close the emergency exit doors 834 and 844 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
