3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-41-00-010-203-A
A. Get Access
   (1) Open aft passenger/crew doors 832 and 842 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
   (2) Remove the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-003) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-004).
   (3) Remove the necessary insulation blankets to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
NOTE: Identify the insulation blankets for installation.

B. Removal of the Components
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE STOP FITTINGS TO DO THIS INSPECTION. DURING THIS PROCEDURE, A MINIMUM OF THREE BOLTS MUST ALWAYS BE INSTALLED. REMOVE ONE BOLT, DO THE INSPECTION OF THE HOLE AND THEN INSTALL THE BOLT AGAIN BEFORE YOU DO THE INSPECTION OF THE NEXT HOLE.
   (1) Remove the nuts and the bolts from the door stop fittings (Ref. AMM TASK 52-13-31-000-002).

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-41-00-220-090-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of aft passenger/crew door cutout, door stop fittings holes at FR 66 web, LH/RH for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 511001.
   (2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-41-00-916-107-A
B. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
   (1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
   (2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
   (3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
NOTE: If, after the check of the condition and integrity, the TPS layer is in the correct condition, Airbus recommends that you apply a new layer as a spray on the existing layer. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection.
5. Close-up

A. Installation of the Components
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the bolts and nuts on the door stop fittings (Ref. AMM TASK 52-13-31-400-002).
Subtask 53-41-00-410-199-A
B. Close Access
   (1) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
   (2) Install the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-008) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-005).
   (3) Close aft passenger/crew doors 832, 842 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
   (4) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
