A. Get Access
   (1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE adjacent to the aft cargo-compartment door.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (2) If necessary, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Make sure that the inspection area is dry before you continue.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-41-00-220-081-A
A. Detailed Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection at the aft cargo door cutout.
     (a) For A320 and A321, do this for the visible part of the lateral FR52A and FR56.
     (b) For A319, do this for the visible part of the lateral FR55A and FR59.
   (2) Look for corrosion, cracks and other damage.
   (3) If you find corrosion damage:
     (a) Refer to the SRM 51220000 for the general corrosion protection data.
     (b) Repair the corroded areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
   (4) If you find any other damage:
     (a) Refer to the SRM 51110000 for the classification of the damage.
     (b) Refer to the SRM 51110000 for allowable damage limits.
     (c) Refer to the ASRM SRM 53411202 for the correct repair procedure.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-41-00-410-190-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
