3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-41-00-010-193-A
A. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of aft passenger/crew doors 832 and 842.
   (2) Open aft passenger/crew doors 832 and 842 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
   (3) If installed, remove the galleys and/or the lavatories from the inspection area. To do this, refer to the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
     (a) For the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-33-00-00)
     (b) For the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-43-00-00).
NOTE: It can be necessary to remove only a part of the lavatories or aft galley to get access to the inspection area.
   (4) Remove the door frame lining (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-004).
   (5) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
     (a) Identify the insulation blankets to make the subsequent installation procedure easier.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Remove the fasteners to examine the holes SRM 514200.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-41-00-220-080-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the fuselage internal structure (on the left and right sides) for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection at FR66 and FR68, at the inner cap joint to the gusset plates from stringer 10 to stringer 16 NTM 534123.
   (2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
     (a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Installation of the Fasteners
   (1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
   (2) Install the fasteners of the examined holes SRM 514200.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-41-00-410-189-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
   (3) Install the door frame lining (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-008) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-005).
   (4) If removed, install the galleys and/or the lavatories in the inspection area. To do this, refer to the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
     (a) For the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-33-00-00)
     (b) For the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-43-00-00).
   (5) Close aft passenger/crew doors 832 and 842 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
   (6) Remove the access platform(s).
