Subtask 53-41-00-010-172-A
A. Get Access
(1) If necessary, remove the cabin attendant seat(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-42-000-001).
(2) Remove the lower door-frame lining at FR68, left and right sides.
(3) Remove the side lateral-galley lining.
(4) If installed and if necessary, remove the aft galley (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-000-008) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-45-000-001).
Subtask 53-41-00-110-160-A (1) If necessary, remove the cabin attendant seat(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-42-000-001).
(2) Remove the lower door-frame lining at FR68, left and right sides.
(3) Remove the side lateral-galley lining.
(4) If installed and if necessary, remove the aft galley (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-000-008) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-45-000-001).
NOTE: The removal of the aft galley is only necessary if you cannot get access to the lateral shear plates.
(5) Remove the applicable floor panels between FR66 and FR70 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-000-801).B. Preparation of the inspection area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the TPS layer, if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the TPS layer, if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-41-00-210-136-A
A. Detailed Inspection Procedure
(1) Do a detailed visual inspection of the cabin floor structure and the structure below the aft entrance area. Do this between FR66 and FR68 and the lateral shear plates between FR68 and FR70.
(a) Make sure that you examine the floor structure.
(b) Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts.
(2) If you find corrosion damage:
(a) Refer to the ASRM for the material details, item identification and the action/repair data:
Subtask 53-41-00-916-089-A (1) Do a detailed visual inspection of the cabin floor structure and the structure below the aft entrance area. Do this between FR66 and FR68 and the lateral shear plates between FR68 and FR70.
(a) Make sure that you examine the floor structure.
(b) Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts.
(2) If you find corrosion damage:
- Refer to the ASRM SRM 51220000 for the general corrosion protection data
- Repair the corroded areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
- Refer to the ASRM SRM 51110000 for the class of damage
- Refer to the ASRM SRM 51111100 for the permitted damage limits
- Repair the minor damage (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-004).
(a) Refer to the ASRM for the material details, item identification and the action/repair data:
- For the floor structure, refer to the ASRM SRM 534114.
B. Application of Temporary Protection System
(2) If there is a TPS layer, do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(4) If you used solvents, high-pressure water, steam and/or cleaning agents to clean the TPS layer:
(a) Apply a full new layer of TPS on the inspection area, as recommended in the MPD (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(b) If there is no TPS layer, apply a new layer of TPS on the inspection area, as recommended in the MPD (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(5) Remove the masking paper or the masking tape.
5. Close-upWARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION ON THE OXYGEN SYSTEMS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE TEMPORARY PROTECTION DOES NOT GET:
(1) Apply masking paper or masking tape Adhesive Film Tape-Masking - - (Material No.05RDA1) on the equipment and fittings adjacent to the area. - ON COMPOSITE PARTS, CONTROL CABLES, PULLEYS,TEFLON BEARINGS.
- ON LUBRICATED SURFACES.
- IN DRAIN VALVES OR OTHER ORIFICES.
(2) If there is a TPS layer, do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
NOTE: Airbus recommends that you always apply a new layer of TPS. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection. Make sure that the TPS layer is in the correct condition after the check. If the TPS is in the correct condition, apply a new layer as a spray on the remaining layer.
(3) Replace the damaged TPS layer with a new layer of TPS on the inspection area, as recommended in the MPD (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001). (4) If you used solvents, high-pressure water, steam and/or cleaning agents to clean the TPS layer:
(a) Apply a full new layer of TPS on the inspection area, as recommended in the MPD (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(b) If there is no TPS layer, apply a new layer of TPS on the inspection area, as recommended in the MPD (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(5) Remove the masking paper or the masking tape.
Subtask 53-41-00-410-168-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable floor panels between FR66 to FR70 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-400-801).
(3) If necessary, install the aft galley (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-400-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-400-008) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-45-400-001).
(4) Install the side lateral-galley lining.
(5) Install the lower door-frame lining at FR68, left and right sides.
(6) If necessary, install the cabin attendant seat(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-400-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-42-400-001).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable floor panels between FR66 to FR70 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-400-801).
(3) If necessary, install the aft galley (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-400-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-41-400-008) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-33-45-400-001).
(4) Install the side lateral-galley lining.
(5) Install the lower door-frame lining at FR68, left and right sides.
(6) If necessary, install the cabin attendant seat(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-400-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-42-400-001).
