A. Get Access
(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) If installed, remove the applicable ACT(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-004).
(3) Remove the linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(4) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-41-00-110-108-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) If installed, remove the applicable ACT(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-004).
(3) Remove the linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(4) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection areas is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection areas is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-41-00-210-127-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the fuselage internal structure, between cabin floor panels and cargo compartment floor, including cabin floor structure, from FR47 to FR65 for damage or discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-41-00-916-116-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a detailed inspection of the fuselage internal structure, between cabin floor panels and cargo compartment floor, including cabin floor structure, from FR47 to FR65 for damage or discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Check and Application of the TPS layer
(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-41-00-410-157-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(2) Install the linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(3) If removed, install the applicable ACT(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-004).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(1) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(2) Install the linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(3) If removed, install the applicable ACT(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40), (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-004).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
