Subtask 53-41-00-010-228-A
A. Get Access
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
   (2) Put on and attach the safety harness:
WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
     (a) Put on and attach a safety harness before you start work in the work area.
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in the required position.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-41-00-210-116-A
A. General Visual Inspection
   (1) Do a general visual inspection of the external surface of the fuselage skin around the aft passenger/crew door cutouts, between FR 65 and FR 70 and from stringer 6 to stringer 26, (without the area below the scuff plate), left and right sides, for damage or discontinuities.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
     (c) Paint layer damage:
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512300) for general data for paint layers.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
