A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the escape chute slide compartment internal structure from stringer 24 to stringer 28, LH and RH, for damage or discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref.
