A. Get Access
   (1) Remove the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-004).
   (2) Remove the thermal and acoustical insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
NOTE: Identify the blankets for installation.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-41-00-210-087-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the door stop fittings on FR66 and FR68, LH/RH.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
  • If you find corrosion, refer to the SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, bumps, and other)
  • If you find this type of damage, refer to the SRM 511100 for damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-41-00-410-103-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the thermal and acoustical insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
   (3) Install the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-008) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-005).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
