B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that the inspection areas are dry before you continue.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that the inspection areas are dry before you continue.
Subtask 53-41-00-210-075-A
A. Detailed Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the skin cutout of the VHF 3 antenna.
(a) For A320 and A321, do this between FR52 and FR53.
1 Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts and to the surface protection.
(b) For A319, do this between FR56 and FR57.
1 Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts and to the surface protection.
(c) For A318, do this between FR61 and FR62.
1 Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts and to the surface protection.
(2) If you find corrosion damage:
(a) Refer to the ASRM SRM 51220000 for the general corrosion-protection data.
(b) Repair the corroded areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
(3) If you find other damage to the metal parts:
(a) Refer to the ASRM SRM 51110000 for the classification of the damage.
(b) Refer to the ASRM SRM 51111100 for the allowable damage limits.
(c) Repair the minor damage (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-004).
(d) If you find other damage to the metal parts, that is more than the limits for minor damage, you must:
1 Refer to the ASRM for the material details, the item identification and the action/repair data:
5. Close-up(1) Do a detailed inspection of the skin cutout of the VHF 3 antenna.
(a) For A320 and A321, do this between FR52 and FR53.
1 Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts and to the surface protection.
(b) For A319, do this between FR56 and FR57.
1 Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts and to the surface protection.
(c) For A318, do this between FR61 and FR62.
1 Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts and to the surface protection.
(2) If you find corrosion damage:
(a) Refer to the ASRM SRM 51220000 for the general corrosion-protection data.
(b) Repair the corroded areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
(3) If you find other damage to the metal parts:
(a) Refer to the ASRM SRM 51110000 for the classification of the damage.
(b) Refer to the ASRM SRM 51111100 for the allowable damage limits.
(c) Repair the minor damage (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 51-73-11-300-004).
(d) If you find other damage to the metal parts, that is more than the limits for minor damage, you must:

- for the skin plates, refer to the ASRM SRM 53411100
- for the frames, refer to the ASRM SRM 53411200
- for the stringers, refer to the ASRM SRM 53411300.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the VHF 3 antenna (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-11-400-002).
