A. Get Access
(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) If necessary, remove the applicable Additional Center Tank (ACT). For the location of this component, refer to Para. Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-00-00).
(4) Remove aft cargo-compartment sidewall-linings 152HW and 152DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).
(5) Remove aft cargo-compartment floor-panels 152EF, 152FF, 152MF and 152NF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
(6) Remove the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001).
(7) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(8) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 53-41-00-010-075-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) If necessary, remove the applicable Additional Center Tank (ACT). For the location of this component, refer to Para. Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-00-00).
(4) Remove aft cargo-compartment sidewall-linings 152HW and 152DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).
(5) Remove aft cargo-compartment floor-panels 152EF, 152FF, 152MF and 152NF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
(6) Remove the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001).
(7) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(8) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
A. Get Access
(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.

(4) Remove aft cargo-compartment sidewall-linings 152DW and 152HW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).
(5) Remove aft cargo-compartment floor-panels 152RG, 152QG, 152MF and 152NF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
(6) Remove the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001).
(7) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(8) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 53-41-00-010-075-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).

(6) Remove the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001).
(7) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(8) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
A. Get Access

(6) Remove bulk cargo-compartment floor-panels 162BF and 162CF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-17-000-001).
(7) Remove the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001).
(8) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(9) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 53-41-00-110-151-A (1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) If necessary, remove the applicable Additional Center Tank (ACT). For the location of this component, refer to Para. Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-00-00).
(4) Remove aft cargo-compartment sidewall-linings 152TW and 162AW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(5) Remove aft cargo-compartment floor-panels 152WG and 152XG (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
(6) Remove bulk cargo-compartment floor-panels 162BF and 162CF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-17-000-001).
(7) Remove the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001).
(8) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(9) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-41-00-210-058-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the fuselage internal structure around the cutout of the aft cargo-compartment door. Do this inspection between stringer 23 and stringer 38 for damage or discontinuities:
(a) For A320 and A321, do this inspection from FR52 to FR57.
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-41-00-916-051-A (1) Do a detailed inspection of the fuselage internal structure around the cutout of the aft cargo-compartment door. Do this inspection between stringer 23 and stringer 38 for damage or discontinuities:
(a) For A320 and A321, do this inspection from FR52 to FR57.
- Make sure that you do the inspection of the frames, stringers and internal surface of the fuselage skin.
- Look for corrosion and other damage to the metal parts and to the surface protection.

(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.

If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If you removed the TPS at the ”Preparation of the Inspection Area”, apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the ”Preparation of the Inspection Area”, do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If you removed the TPS at the ”Preparation of the Inspection Area”, apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the ”Preparation of the Inspection Area”, do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-400-001).
(4) Install aft cargo-compartment floor-panels 152EF, 152FF, 152MF and 152NF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
(5) Install aft cargo-compartment sidewall-linings 152DW and 152HW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
(6) Install the applicable ACT. For the location of this component, refer to Para. Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-00-00).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(8) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(9) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
Subtask 53-41-00-410-074-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the radio altimeter transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-400-001).
(4) Install aft cargo-compartment floor-panels 152EF, 152FF, 152MF and 152NF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-400-001).
(5) Install aft cargo-compartment sidewall-linings 152DW and 152HW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
(6) Install the applicable ACT. For the location of this component, refer to Para. Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-00-00).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).

(5) Install bulk cargo-compartment floor-panels 162BF and 162CF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-17-400-001).
(6) Install aft cargo-compartment sidewall-linings 152TW and 162AW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
