A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the MLG doors are opened (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the green, blue and yellow hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position.
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position.
Subtask 53-36-11-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the MLG doors are opened (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the green, blue and yellow hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position.
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the Fairlead
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) If the identification plates (8) are removed:
(a) Install the identification plates (8).
(b) Apply Paste Adhesive-Epoxy Composite General Use Structure (Material No.13FBB2) on the identification plates (8).
(c) Apply Varnish-- - Structure Legacy (Material No.04TMM9) on the identification plates (8).
(4) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Smoother - (Material No.06AAE1) on the fairlead (2).
(5) Put the fairlead (2) in position on the pressure plate (1). Refer to the identification made during the removal procedure.
(6) Install the plate (3) on the fairlead (2).
(7) Install the washers (4) and (7) and the screws (5) and (6).
(8) When you install the screw (6), do an electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(9) Tighten the screws (5) and (6).
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) If the identification plates (8) are removed:
(a) Install the identification plates (8).
(b) Apply Paste Adhesive-Epoxy Composite General Use Structure (Material No.13FBB2) on the identification plates (8).
(c) Apply Varnish-- - Structure Legacy (Material No.04TMM9) on the identification plates (8).
(4) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Smoother - (Material No.06AAE1) on the fairlead (2).
(5) Put the fairlead (2) in position on the pressure plate (1). Refer to the identification made during the removal procedure.
(6) Install the plate (3) on the fairlead (2).
(7) Install the washers (4) and (7) and the screws (5) and (6).
(8) When you install the screw (6), do an electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(9) Tighten the screws (5) and (6).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) Pressurize the Green, Blue, Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
Subtask 53-36-11-862-050-A (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) Pressurize the Green, Blue, Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
