(2) Do the repair procedure:
(a) Make sure that the repair area is dry.
(b) Carefully grind the edges of the belly fairing panels to get a minimum of 2.5 mm (0.0984 in.) clearance between the panel and the MLG door. Refer to SRM 512721 for grinding.
(d) Apply a smooth paste of Epoxy Adhesive-- - Legacy 2 (Material No.05EML8) (Araldite134) to the repair area with a SPATULA - NON METALLIC.
(e) Let the adhesive cure. Obey the manufacturer's instructions.
(g) If necessary, repair the paint coat (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003).

A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.

B. Get Access
(1) Remove the belly fairing panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-000-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(2) Depressurize the Green, Yellow and Blue hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).

WHEN YOU DRILL, MACHINE, BLEND, GRIND OR SAND PARTS, USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, GLOVES, DUST MASK AND GOGGLES. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREATHE THE DUST OR LET IT TOUCH YOUR SKIN. DUST AND PARTICLES ARE DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTH.
A. Do the repair of the belly-fairing panel as follows: NOTE: The procedure that follows is for panel 147CB. The procedure for the panels 147AB, 147BB, 147EB, 147FB, 148DB, 148FB and 195CB are almost the same.
(1) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . (2) Do the repair procedure:
(a) Make sure that the repair area is dry.
(b) Carefully grind the edges of the belly fairing panels to get a minimum of 2.5 mm (0.0984 in.) clearance between the panel and the MLG door. Refer to SRM 512721 for grinding.
NOTE: The clearance of minimum 2.5mm is necessary to get a clearance of 2mm after painting (with the MLG door in the closed position).
(c) Make sure that the distance between the center of the fastener and the panel edge is more than or equal to 10 mm (0.3937 in.).(d) Apply a smooth paste of Epoxy Adhesive-- - Legacy 2 (Material No.05EML8) (Araldite134) to the repair area with a SPATULA - NON METALLIC.
(e) Let the adhesive cure. Obey the manufacturer's instructions.
CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE OF THE COMPOSITE MATERIAL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE PAINT COATING WITH ABRASIVE PAPER.
(f) Make the repair area smooth with a Abrasive-- Emery cloth - (Material No.14FAE1) . (g) If necessary, repair the paint coat (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003).

B. Remove the ground support equipment
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
