(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position.

Subtask 53-35-00-040-050-A
A. Preparation of the Aircraft for Flight with Missing Root Fillet Fairing
(1) Clean the area of the root fillet fairing with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a clean lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Apply Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) to the opening of the missing root fillet fairing. Cut it to the correct dimensions.
(3) Make the tape smooth from the center to the edges to remove air bubbles. Push the edges down tightly.
(4) Do a check of the condition of the tape before each flight. If the tape is damaged or missing, replace it.
5. Close-up(1) Clean the area of the root fillet fairing with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a clean lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Apply Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) to the opening of the missing root fillet fairing. Cut it to the correct dimensions.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE.

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(4) Make a record in the aircraft logbook that a temporary repair is done.
