B. Get Access
(1) Remove the emergency exit hatches (Ref. AMM TASK 52-21-11-000-001) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 52-21-11-00).
(2) Remove the applicable lower side-wall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(3) Remove the applicable insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-31-00-110-156-A (1) Remove the emergency exit hatches (Ref. AMM TASK 52-21-11-000-001) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 52-21-11-00).
(2) Remove the applicable lower side-wall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(3) Remove the applicable insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
C. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 53-31-00-210-119-B
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the longitudinal beam flanges at left and right stringers 20A for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection between FR38 and FR39 and between FR40 and FR41.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up(1) Do a detailed inspection of the longitudinal beam flanges at left and right stringers 20A for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection between FR38 and FR39 and between FR40 and FR41.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-31-00-410-150-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the applicable lower side-wall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-400-001).
(4) Install the removed emergency exit hatches (Ref. AMM TASK 52-21-11-400-001) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 52-21-11-40).
Subtask 53-31-00-862-070-A (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the applicable lower side-wall panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-400-001).
(4) Install the removed emergency exit hatches (Ref. AMM TASK 52-21-11-400-001) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 52-21-11-40).
