A. Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

Subtask 53-31-00-010-152-B

B. Get Access
(1) Remove the emergency exit hatches (Ref. AMM TASK 52-21-11-000-001) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 52-21-11-00).
(2) Remove the upper sidewall panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-002).
(3) Remove the cove light panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-000-001).
(4) Remove the air-conditioning distribution ducts as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
(5) Remove the applicable insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-31-00-210-118-B

A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the frame flanges at FR38, FR39, FR40 and FR41 for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection between left stringers 12 and 21 and right stringers 12 and 21.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-31-00-410-149-B

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed air-conditioning distribution ducts (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(4) Install the removed cove light panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-48-400-001).
(5) Install the removed upper sidewall panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-002).
(6) Install the removed emergency exit hatches (Ref. AMM TASK 52-21-11-400-001) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 52-21-11-40).

B. De-energize the ground service network
